09/06/04 After technology valorization steps, the developers of the MitoProd Project are creating a company (SA for Société Anonyme) with the aim of utilizing the technological process developed in the lab for industrial and commercial purposes. The company, primarily financed with 66 500 euros by MitoProd founding members, is now also supported by the Aquitaine-Amorçage Fund. With Guillaume Plane as President and CEO, a high level board of directors assists MitoProd’s management and its strategic and operational development plan: Michel Raoult is the director of the Paul Capital Financiere tuileries Fund, Frédéric Guégnaud is the former Vice-president of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Michel Aigle is the director of the Institut de biochimie et génétique cellulaires de Bordeaux.
