07/17/07 MitoProd SA and Flamel technologies (NASDAQ: FLML) launch RNAGENIX, with the MCMP laboratory (University of Bordeaux)

Both companies will join their know-how in formulation and in production for the RNA based drugs market, in order to resolve the two main difficulties encountered for the development of RNA as therapeutic molecules. Proof of concept will be operated on a new RNA drug candidate developed in the MCMP laboratory.

The project will be financed by the French ministry of economy and finances, and the Conseil régional d'Aquitaine.
